Imigran Nasal Spray is used for the treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura

You should also bear in mind that this medication can cause drowsiness and can impair your ability on tasks such as driving
Imigran should only be used where there is a clear diagnosis of migraine
Sumatriptan is not indicated for use in the management of hemiplegic, basilar or ophthalmoplegic migraine
1 spray administered into one nostril, followed by 1 further spray after at least 2 hours if required, to be taken only if migraine recurs (if there is no response to the initial dose should not take a second dose for same attack)
The usual dose for adults ageds between 18 to 65, is one Imigran 20mg spray into one nostril, however, a Imigran 10mg spray into one nostril is enough for some people.
Warnings and Contraindications
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the additional ingredients.
This medication should not be used if you have had a previous myocardial infarction (heart attack) or any type of stroke, or if you have heart disease, angina or vascular disease
Imigran is not suitable for people with moderate or severe high blood pressure, or poorly controlled mild increased blood pressure
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous, sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
Do not store above 30°C. Keep this product in the sealed blister in the box to protect is from the light.
