Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg

Diarrhoea

Take TWO tablets initially followed by one tablet after every loose bowel movement.

The usual dose is 3 to 4 tablets (equivalent to 6 mg to 8 mg) daily. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets (12 mg) in total.

Do not use if you have severe diarrhoea after taking antibiotics.

Do not use if you are having a flare-up of a inflammatory bowel disease (such as ulcerative colitis)
