Naprosyn is anti-inflammatory painkiller, from a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in joints and muscles.Drug Warning
You should take naproxen with some water, with or after food.

Dose
the usual dose will be between 500mg and 1000mg per day. It ca be taken all at once, or split into a twice daily dose.
Usual starting dose is 500mg as a single dose, and then a 250mg tablet every 6-8 hours as necessary. This may be worked up to maximum of 1250mg a day.
Warnings and ContraindicationsDo not take Naproxen if:
You have ever had problems with your stomach or intestine, such as ulcers or bleeding.
You have severe liver, kidney or heart problems.
You are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
You have an allergy to aspirin, NSAIDs or other pain relief medications.
