The usual dose will be 250mg or 500mg dose taken twice a day
Usual starting dose is 500mg as a single dose, and then a 250mg tablet every 6-8 hours as necessary. This may be worked up to maximum of 1250mg a day.
Warnings and ContraindicationsDo not take Naproxen if:
You have ever had problems with your stomach or intestine, such as ulcers or bleeding.
You have severe liver, kidney or heart problems.
You are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
You have an allergy to aspirin, NSAIDs or other pain relief medications.
