Warnings and Contraindications
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the additional ingredients.
NASONEX Nasal Spray should not be used in the presence of untreated localised infection involving the nasal mucosa, such as herpes simplex (cold sore virus)
If you have had recent nasal surgery or trauma you should not use this medication until healing has occurred.
Please advise your prescriber if you have been taking oral corticosteroids or if you have been diagnosed with a fungal or viral infection of the airways

Dose
TWO sprays into each nostril once a day. Reduce to one spray into each nostril once symptoms are controlled
The dose may be increased to a maximum daily dose of four puffs in each nostril once daily. Dose reduction is recommended following control of symptoms.
TWO actuations in each nostril once daily. If after 5 to 6 weeks symptoms are inadequately controlled, the dose may be increased to a daily dose of two sprays in each nostril twice daily
If no improvement in symptoms is seen after 5 to 6 weeks of twice daily administration, the patient should be re-evaluated and treatment strategy reconsidered.

This medicine may cause blurred vision, please do not engage in activities such as driving a car or operating machinery, until you have established your own response to this medication
