Norethisterone is a synthetic version of the hormone progesterone and can be used to delay your period. This happens as progesterone levels are maintained, which then sustains the natural lining of the womb until the medication is stopped. Your period should be expected 3 days after taking a final dose. This medication is for short term occasional use, but may be used for up to 30 days as a single course for period delay.Drug Warning
Norethisterone is also in some HRT or contraceptive products, but doses and formulations vary. This product is not suitable for hormone replacement, contraception, or emergency contraception
If you use contraceptive methods, whether it is the pill or barrier contraception, those should continue to be used alongside Norethisterone.
After your course ends, your period should return within three days. If not you should arrange a pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy.

ONE to be taken THREE times a day starting three days before the expected onset of menstruation
One pack of 30 tabs would be needed for up to 10 days of period delay.
Periods should return within three days of finishing the treatment.
Warnings and ContraindicationsYou should not take Norethisterone if:
You are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
You have (or have had) vaginal bleeding that was undiagnosed.
You or a family member have had an issue relating to blood clots, such as DVT.
You have ever had a heart attack or angina.
You have ever had liver problems.
You suffer from porphyria.
You have pruritis which is severe and generalised all over your body.
