Drug Warning
Suck or chew this medicine
Do not take anything containing aspirin while taking this medicine.
Suitability criteria
Heartburn
Indigestion
Diarrhoea
Dose
Chew or dissolve two tablets in your mouth. Repeat this dose every 30-60 mins if needed. Do not take more than 16 tablets in a 24-hour period.
Warnings and Contraindications
Pepto-Bismol should not be used by those aged under 16 due to a possible association between salicylates and Reye's syndrome, a very rare but very serious disease.
Do not take with aspirin or other salicylates
