Migraine Relief

The recommended daily dose is 100 to 150mg in two or three divided doses

Migraine: 50 mg at the first signs of an attack. If no sufficient relief 2 hours after the first dose, a further dose of 50 mg may be taken. Further doses of 50 mg may be taken at intervals of 4-6 hours, maximum dose 200 mg per day.

Avoid use in active, gastric or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or perforation, or if any history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, relating to previous NSAID therapy those with active cancer or those with 3 years of cancer remission.

Avoid in active, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage those with active cancer or those with 3 years of cancer remission.

Avoid in cases of liver failure, kidney failure, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease or cerebrovascular disease. those with active cancer or those with 3 years of cancer remission.

Voltarol Rapid should not be used where attacks of asthma, or allergic reactions are precipitated by ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. those with active cancer or those with 3 years of cancer remission.

Use of Voltarol Rapid tablets 50mg are recommended only for short term treatment. those with active cancer or those with 3 years of cancer remission.
