Xyzal contains Levocetirizine, which is an antihistamine used to treat common hay fever symptoms (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and urticaria (raised, itchy allergy-type rash)
Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg/Tablet
If you suffer from epilepsy or are at risk of convulsions, please ask your doctor for advice as use of Xyzal may cause seizure aggravation.
The recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years of age, is 1 tablet daily. Should be swallowed whole with water and may be taken with or without food.
Warnings and Contraindications
You must not take Xyzal if you have severe impairment of kidney function.
Common Side Effects
Dry mouth, headache, tiredness and drowsiness.
Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), and macrogol 400.
